a sip of sparkling whine part II… to infinity and beyond

Speaking of  ‘other worldly’ (see below), Louis Vuitton, like Chanel, are also opting for the dreamy, out of this world vibe in their latest marketing ploy. The new ‘core values’ campaign includes three astronauts, including legend Buzz Aldrin. (Sadly, no one asked Buzz Lightyear).  Of course there is something seductive about exotic and foreign places but I also seem to be picking up on an ‘anywhere-but-here’  feel and, at the moment, I can’t blame them.
