British photographer Miles Aldrige currently has an exhibition, ‘Doll Face’ on at the Hamilitons Gallery in London (2nd April – 10th May). I love Aldrige because there is a bit of Hitchcock, a bit of Lynch and even a bit of Desperate Housewives in his photos. Some don’t sit too well with my feminist ideals but some are damn right beautiful. His father was the famous art director, Alan Alridge who designed covers for the Beatles. I guess, then cool is in his DNA. He also seems to feature a lot of cats – which make him tres cool in my book.
